Check out what we're learning this week in 6th grade science!
We have been covering the Scientific method and lab safety rules in class this week. We did take a test Friday and the overall results were impressive, especially when compared to other teams in 6th grade. Well done students. We have also been learning the basics of school rules. Our team seems to have a bit of an issue with walking in the halls quietly and learning not to talk when others are talking. This is something that I personally have had to correct on numerous occasions as well as other teachers. We will continue to strive to be the very best that 6th grade has to offer and will be a shining example to the rest of the school as what it means to be exceptional. Starting next week, we will begin in chapter 16 (atmosphere) where we will begin our standards based learning. Please encourage students to read the first section of the chapter before next week begins to at least be familiar with the content before we dive in. I hope everyone has a great and safe weekend.
